Outfits & Accessories by Mai B! – Garment Agreement & Policies:

1. When Outfits & Accessories by Mai B! Purchases the Fabric(s)

This agreement is made between Outfits & Accessories by Mai B! (“Seamstress”) and (“Client”) for the creation of a custom garment.

Payment Terms:

  • A 75% non-refundable deposit is due upon acceptance of this contract. Work will not begin until payment is received.
  • The remaining 25% balance is due at the time of the first fitting.

Fabric & Materials:

  • Outfits & Accessories by Mai B! does not normally provide fabric.
  • If the Client requests the Seamstress to purchase fabric on their behalf, the Client will be charged the full cost of fabric plus any additional costs (including mileage).
  • This arrangement must be discussed and agreed upon by both parties prior to purchase.

Fittings & Alterations:

  • A minimum of one fitting is required, though additional fittings may be necessary depending on the style and complexity of the garment.
  • Any changes requested after the final fitting may incur additional charges.

Cancellations & Refunds:

  • Payments are non-refundable once materials have been purchased and work has begun.
  • If the Client cancels after work has started, they remain responsible for the full balance due.

2. When Client Provides the Fabric(s)

This agreement is made between Outfits & Accessories by Mai B! (“Seamstress”) and (“Client”) for the creation of a custom garment using fabric provided by the Client.

Payment Terms:

  • A 75% non-refundable deposit is due upon acceptance of this contract. Work will not begin until payment is received.
  • The remaining 25% balance is due at the time of the first fitting.

Client-Provided Fabric & Materials:

  • The Client is responsible for providing all fabric and any specific materials required.
  • The Seamstress is not responsible for fabric flaws, shrinkage, or other quality issues.
  • If more fabric/materials are needed due to design changes or miscalculations, the Client must supply them at their own cost.

Fittings & Alterations:

  • At least one fitting is required; more may be necessary.
  • Any changes requested after the final fitting may incur additional charges.

3. Rush Orders

This agreement is made between Outfits & Accessories by Mai B! (“Seamstress”) and (“Client”) for the creation of a custom garment.

Rush Order Terms:

  • Orders requested within one -two weeks of the event date will be subject to a 10% rush fee (added to the final cost).
  • The Seamstress cannot guarantee availability for rush orders and may decline based on workload.
